April is the peak season in Thailand. It is summer holidays for schools. The period is generally from mid-March to early May. Majority of families with children will travel during this period.
October is the end of rainy season. There are many festivals like temple fairs, boat racing, buffalo racing etc. Schools are closed for about 3 weeks in this month.
